Air Fryer Fries

Crispy and golden Air Fryer Fries are a healthier alternative to traditional fries, delivering perfect crunch with minimal oil in just minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut into even-sized fries.
  2. Soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry thoroughly.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer; you may need to cook in batches.
  6. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  7. Remove fries when golden and crispy; serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, try tossing the fries with a small amount of cornstarch before air frying, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
