Caesar Dressing

A classic Caesar dressing combining creamy, tangy, and savory flavors, perfect for salads or as a dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 anchovy fillets, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine minced garlic and mashed anchovy fillets to form a paste.
  2. Add lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce; whisk until blended.
  3. Stir in the mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  4. Slowly whisk in olive oil until the dressing is creamy and emulsified.
  5. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. This dressing pairs wonderfully with crisp romaine lettuce and homemade croutons.
