A decadent and flavorful dish combining perfectly blackened steak and shrimp tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce over tender pasta, ideal for an indulgent dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 lb flank steak
  • 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp blackened seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Pat the steak dry and season both sides evenly with blackened seasoning.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness. Remove from pan and let rest, then slice thinly.
  4. Season the shrimp with the remaining blackened seasoning.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  6. Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet and melt. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat thoroughly.
  10. Plate the pasta and Alfredo sauce, then top with sliced steak and shrimp.
  11. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra spice, sprinkle additional blackened seasoning on the steak and shrimp before serving or serve with a side of garlic bread to complement the creamy Alfredo sauce.
