This Crockpot BBQ Chicken is a tender, flavorful dish slow-cooked to perfection with smoky barbecue sauce, making mealtime effortless and delicious.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Carefully shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce in the crockpot.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a smoky twist, add a dash of liquid smoke to the sauce mixture before cooking.
