Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Celery sticks, for serving
  • Blue cheese dressing, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place chicken wings in the crockpot in a single layer.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the wings, tossing gently to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours until wings are cooked through and tender.
  5. Increase heat to high and cook uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes to thicken the sauce slightly.
  6. Stir wings to coat them evenly in the sauce before serving.
  7. Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, broil cooked wings for 2-3 minutes per side before serving. You can also adjust the hot sauce amount to your preferred spice level.
