Cheese Ball

A classic, creamy cheese ball perfect for parties and gatherings, flavored with sharp cheddar and herbs for a savory, crowd-pleasing appetizer.

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Additional chopped walnuts and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese until smooth and well blended.
  2. Add the chopped green onions, walnuts, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper; mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands or plastic wrap for easy shaping.
  4. Roll the cheese ball in additional chopped walnuts and parsley to coat evenly.
  5. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  6. Serve chilled with crackers, bread slices, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of smoked paprika or substituting walnuts with pecans. Allow the cheese ball to come to room temperature before serving for best taste.
