Stuffed Mushrooms

Deliciously baked stuffed mushrooms filled with a savory blend of cheese, herbs, and breadcrumbs, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 20 large white mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems; finely chop the stems.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and chopped mushroom stems for 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, sautéed mixture, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling using a spoon.
  6. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden on top.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a spicy twist, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling mixture before stuffing.
