A flavorful and healthy skillet dish combining tender cauliflower and earthy mushrooms sautéed with garlic, perfect for a quick and nutritious meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add cauliflower florets and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cauliflower is tender and mushrooms are browned, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra richness, finish with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
