Honey Glazed Salmon Bowl

This Honey Glazed Salmon Bowl features perfectly cooked salmon drizzled with a sweet honey glaze, served over a bed of fluffy rice and fresh vegetables for a wholesome and flavorful meal.

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
  5. Flip the salmon and brush the honey glaze over the fillets.
  6. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until salmon is cooked through and glaze is caramelized.
  7. In serving bowls, place cooked jasmine rice, steamed broccoli, and julienned carrots.
  8. Top with glazed salmon and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your healthy honey glazed salmon bowl.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice or a sprinkle of chili flakes before serving.
