No Bake Salted Caramel Pretzel Bars

  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well mixed.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the base.
  4. Pour caramel sauce over the pretzel base and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle sea salt evenly over the caramel layer.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly.
  8. Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  9. Use parchment paper to lift bars from the pan and cut into squares before serving.

For an extra indulgent touch, sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the chocolate layer before chilling.
