Reeses Peanut Butter Cups

Delicious homemade Reeses Peanut Butter Cups combining creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate for a perfect sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, melted butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
  4. Pour a spoonful of melted chocolate into each liner, spreading slightly to cover the bottom.
  5. Add a dollop of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate in each cup.
  6. Cover the peanut butter layer with more melted chocolate, smoothing the top.
  7. Refrigerate the cups for at least 1 hour until firm.
  8. Once set, remove from liners and serve.

Notes

For a crunchy texture, try adding chopped peanuts to the peanut butter filling.
