Vegan Brownies

Deliciously rich and fudgy vegan brownies made without any animal products, perfect for a healthy and indulgent dessert.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the almond milk, melted coconut oil, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips if using.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For extra fudginess, refrigerate the brownies for an hour before serving. You can also add chopped nuts for a crunchy texture.
